Sunnyside Hotel Conference
The Sunnyside Park Hotel combines the charm and grace of a bygone era with the amenities of the 21st century to offer you a hotel that perfectly melds romantic dreams of a time when things were simpler, with the facilities needed to compete in a fast-paced world. Originally built in 1895, this Victorian-style National Monument hotel has been completely refurbished to ensure that your every desire is catered for.
Meetings & Functions
The Sunnyside Park Hotel offers a wide array of meeting and function venues and packages. Our friendly team is always on hand to help ensure your meeting or function is a complete success from start to finish. We will help you plan the perfect event and, in conjunction with our chef, will create the ideal menu.
Meetings
A myriad of options, with even more optional extras, and a full complement of facilities to choose from, the Sunnyside Park Hotel is able to offer you world-class facilities for up to 400 delegates.
With 11 different venues, four different package options and a wide range of standard and optional features to choose from, you can rest assured that we are more than equipped to ensure that your event goes smoothly and according to plan. All conference venues are air-conditioned. Seven of these offer natural light.
Option 1: Day Conference Package
This package refers to a full day conference, from 08h00 to 17h00 and includes:
• Upon arrival: Tea, coffee, Milo, hot chocolate, fresh fruit juice, and buttermilk and wholewheat rusks upon arrival
• Mid morning tea: Tea, coffee, fresh fruit juice, a selection of mini savoury snacks with dips or open sandwiches
• Buffet lunch
• Afternoon tea: Tea, coffee and bakers selection
• The main conference venue including the use of all standard conference equipment, namely:
o 1 x Flipchart
o 1 x Whiteboard
o 1 x Screen
o 1 x TV & VCR.
• Notepads, pens, mineral water and mints
• Complimentary 24-hour parking
Optional extras:
• Permanent coffee/tea station in the conference venue
• Data projectors (limited stock available)
• PA system
• Microphones
• 9/12 Screen
• DVD player
• CD player
• Dancefloor (6m x 6m)
• Stage (six-piece)
Option 2: Half-Day Conference Including Lunch
This package refers to a morning or afternoon session with lunch, and includes:
• Upon arrival: Tea, coffee, Milo, hot chocolate, fresh fruit juice, and buttermilk and wholewheat rusks upon arrival
• Tea break: Tea, coffee, fresh fruit juice, a selection of mini savoury snacks with dips or open sandwiches
• Buffet lunch
• The main conference venue including the use of all standard conference equipment, namely:
o 1 x Overhead projector (overhead projector pens not supplied)
o 1 x Flipchart
o 1 x Whiteboard
o 1 x Screen
o 1 x TV & VCR.
• Notepads, pens, mineral water and sweets
• Complimentary parking
Optional extras:
• Permanent coffee/tea station in the conference venue
• Data projectors with standard screens (limited stock available)

Option 3: Half-Day Conference Excluding Lunch
This package refers to a morning or afternoon session that does not include lunch, but includes:

Make sure that your important event is a roaring success. Our capable staff is on hand to ensure that, no matter what your function is, it goes smoothly, leaving only good memories and happy guests.
The following venues are available to hire at either full day or half-day charges. Venue hire is exclusive of catering and tea and coffee refreshment breaks.
