With uninterrupted views of the Karoo Plains and the Zuurberg Mountains, Kuzuko Lodge lies in a private concession to the north of the Addo Elephant National Park, the third largest national park in South Africa in a malaria-free region.

Kuzuko LodgeAll of our 24 private chalets, three of which are accessible, are beautifully furnished and fully equipped to ensure your absolute comfort. Relax on your own private patio, star gazing and listening to the sound of the bush settling for the night. Enjoy getting back to nature without giving up any of your comforts.



Private Chalets (21):
Kuzuko LodgeAll chalets are luxuriously laid out and air-conditioned. Standard features include DStv, unlimited free Internet access, tea and coffee-making facilities, bath and shower, safe, minibar, hairdryers and international adaptors. All units have private patios. All rooms have twin beds and can be made up as doubles and have a fold-out couch for children (maximum two children under 12 years of age per chalet).

Accessible Private Chalets (3):
Specially adapted to be wheelchair-friendly, our three accessible chalets are luxuriously laid out and air-conditioned. Standard features include DStv, unlimited free Internet access, tea and coffee-making facilities, bath and shower, safe, minibar, hairdryers and international adaptors. All units have private patios. All rooms have twin beds which can be made up as doubles and have a fold-out couch for children (maximum two children under 12 years of age per chalet).



LOCATION

Located to the north of the Addo Elephant National Park, Kuzuko Lodge is 2 hours drive from the Port Elizabeth Airport. Follow the directions below which will see you safely arrive at our reception house.

Directions from Port Elizabeth

  • Proceed from Port Elizabeth on the N10 to Grahamstown and Cradock
  • Take the N10 to Cradock through Paterson and over the Oliphantskop Pass
  • Continuing on the N10 over Olifantskop Pass travel pass the Annes Villa sign on the left hand side, approximately 13km further you will see a sign board that says “R400 Jansenville” to the left, take the turn off onto a dirt road.
  • From here the sign boards to Kuzuko are periodical with the first one approximately 20km along dirt road
  • Continue following the Kuzuko sign boards with +-24km distance continuing on the dirt road
  • The Kuzuko Gatehouse Reception is located on the left hand side of the road, drive into the allocated parking bay
  • Transfer to the lodge will be via game vehicle with your vehicle safely parked at reception


CONFERENCES & BANQUETING

Our Conference centre can seat 30 guests. A light lunch can be provided with two tea and coffee breaks. Groups can also use our wine cellar for break aways or private dinners
